These rotating galleries below contain bison, bull, steer, and buffalo skulls. Some have turquoise inlaid crosses, much beauty is lost in the photos. Two of the large bison skulls are very old and fossilized. They are from an extict giant bison. Catch us at our shows on the road or at our gallery or e-mail us and make an appointment.
These skulls below are hand carved out of moose antler. some have articulate jaws that are hinged and can move. Some are bone and some are ivory. They are all one of a kind. Never duplicated. They all have different expressions. Alot of folks are confused or have no idea what this skull thing is all about. It's not my job to help them form ideas. Alot of people get it and have different ideas about what the skulls represent. I really do not think the skulls mean anything too extravagant or earth changing. When I tie them together with a cross or by themselves, they really don't represent death to us. They all have different expressions, and they all show signs of life. Really for us, it is a way to honor our heritage, but mainly we think the skulls represent us. Dead or Alive, or maybe even just sleeping.
